HOW IT WORKED
Beats received news that Billie Eilish’s new single, Everything I Wanted, was dropping just ahead of the Grammy’s, and asked me to pitch ideas on how they could partner with Billie to launch the track in an interesting way.
I wrote the premise and outline for this intimate behind-the-scenes short, shot at Billie’s childhood home in Highland Park, CA with just her brother Finneas, mom Maggie and dad Patrick.
This final result is half music video, half family portrait, commemorating the making of the single for both Billie, her proud family and her fans.
